Peloton Germany is marking a significant milestone this month: its 5-year anniversary.
Peloton posted a special tribute to Instagram, complete with photos of the German instructor team from over the years. The caption read:
5 years of Peloton Germany ❤️ From German Unity, Oktoberfest, German Carnival classes to Artist Series like Scooter, this community always shows up. Today we want to celebrate YOU and the 5 years full of milestones and heartwarming moments ☁️

In addition to the celebration on social media, there is also now a “Best of Peloton Germany” class collection that was just created. This has 70 classes featured, broken down by year. However, due to purges, the oldest class in the collection is from November 2020 (a year after Peloton Germany started).
The official class description reads:
It’s time to celebrate YOU – our incredible German and Austrian members. Join these classes as we relive the biggest milestones and heartwarming moments to date as we commemorate 5 years of Peloton Germany.

Officially launched on November 20, 2019, Peloton’s expansion into the German market was a major moment for the company, and continues to be a significant portion of its programming and content.
The 5-year celebration is part of Peloton’s broader November Member Month initiatives, which include special events, new features, and opportunities to highlight the global Peloton community throughout this month. Special classes include the Scooter artist series and Time Machine week classes.
Peloton first announced its European expansion into Germany in May 2019, introducing German-language classes as part of its strategy to connect with a broader audience. The move brought live and on-demand workouts, combined with the vibrant Peloton community, to a new region. With instructors like Erik Jäger and Irene Kaymer (formerly Scholz) leading the charge, Peloton Germany quickly built a loyal following.
Since 2019, Peloton Germany has grown to offer diverse content in German, from cycling and running to strength and yoga classes. The local instructor team has expanded, offering members a variety of styles and personalities to connect with. The German community has also contributed to Peloton’s international presence, participating in challenges, events, and meetups.

Congratulations to Peloton Germany on reaching this milestone, and here’s to many more years of riding, running, and lifting together!
