Jon Hosking has been off the live class schedule recently, not teaching any Peloton classes, due to an ankle injury.
He recently shared an update on his Instagram stories that he will continue to remain off the live schedule but did not specify the anticipated length of time.
Jon was planning to run the London marathon on April 21 but posted to his Instagram on April 4 that he needed to pull out from running the race due to an ankle injury that started as he began upping his mileage while marathon training earlier in the year.
In his latest Instagram story update, Jon shared that his ankle was still bothering him. He said:
“It’s the ankle that stopped me running the marathon and I think it’s finally time to get it sorted, get it treated properly, do the physio that I need to do to get back and be stronger and be really enjoying my movement again because it’s been causing me a lot of stress and a lot of strain in the last couple months.
He closed by sharing that “I’m looking forward to getting that work going, it’s a reason to smile.”
Jon’s next post was a video of him showing off his newest fashion accessory – a medical boot to aid in his recovery.

At this point, it’s not clear how much longer Jon will remain off the Peloton schedule – but we’ll be sure to share updates as they become available.
We wish Jon healing and a speedy recovery!
