Sync with Apple Music or Spotify: Track Love Feature

Peloton has introduced a new feature they are calling “Track Love”. This new feature will allow you to save tracks that you hear during classes, or while previewing a on-demand class. With the addition of a new “Music” section on your profile page, you can see the full list of songs that you have saved. This list of songs will generate a playlist (across all songs you have saved across all workouts into a single playlist) that will sync into both a Apple Music or Spotify playlist once you sync your accounts.

As track names appear on your bike or treadmill, they will now have a heart next to them. Clicking that heart will save it to your personal playlist. If you clicked by mistake (we’ve been there, we know it happens!) you can just click it again to remove it. If you are browsing on-demand workouts, you will be able to click the heart icon next to tracks on the track list for that workout as well.

To review your list of songs, just visit your profile page on the bike or tread. There is a new section there entitled “Music”. Within there, is a playlist called “My Peloton Music by [your_username]”. Additionally, if you have added friends on the bike or treadmill, you will be able to check out the playlists they have made.

If you wish to listen to this playlist somewhere else, you can now do that thanks to a new integration with Spotify and Apple Music. After entering your credentials, the playlist that you curate on the bike or tread will be synced to those music services for listening anywhere you go! One thing to note is that if you remove an item from your playlist through one of those music services, it will not be removed from your playlist on the bike.

Have you checked out this feature yet? What’s the first track you are going to favorite?

My Peloton playlist used to sync with my Apple music, but it has recently stopped adding songs. I cannot find anywhere to sync my Peloton with Apple music to reset it, and I don’t see a “Music” section on my Peloton profile page. Any suggestions how to get this working again?

Jen – I lost my connection to Apple Music as well. The Music feature is indeed there. Music should be on the left side under Activity when visiting your profile. My Apple Music had an error and once reconnected all songs started syncing again. If you don’t see Music, check to see your Bike is up to date. Hope this helps.
