Peloton updates cancellation period for live studio classes at PSNY & PSL from 12 to 24 hours

Peloton has updated the cancellation policy for members signed up to take in-person classes at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) and Peloton Studios London (PSL). Moving forward members must cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled class in order to receive their credit back.

Previously members only had to cancel 12 hours before their scheduled class and they would have their credit returned.

This policy change reportedly rolled out approximately two weeks ago, but is now reflected in the Peloton Studios FAQ page.

This means that if you’re signed up for a class at PSNY or PSL but can no longer attend, you must cancel your spot more than 24 hours before the class in order to receive your credit back. Credits/classes at PSNY cost $35 and classes at PSL cost £25. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of the class, you will lose your credit and won’t be able to use it on another class.

This change is likely to allow more time to notify waitlisted members that a spot has opened up in the class.

As a reminder, the Peloton Studios are open to members on Fridays through Sundays. If you’re interested in booking a class at PSNY or PSL, be sure to check out our comprehensive guide containing everything you need to know!

It’s been very frustrating to try to get into a live class at PSNY. Seems as if by noon on Mondays everything is booked. They need to institute a limit of frequency. Have a 1K milestone coming up and couldn’t get a spot. Maybe they should consider giving Milestones priority booking.
