Peloton Officially Announces Run & Ride to Greatness with Alex Toussaint for 2023 (Season 3)

Peloton has officially announced Ride to Greatness Season 3 – with a new twist now that Alex Toussaint also teaches on the Tread. The series will henceforth be known as “Ride/Run to Greatness” and will take place on both the Bike and the Tread.

Peloton made the official announcement via Instagram earlier today, saying:

Greatness is Upon Us. Join Alex on the Bike AND on the Tread(!) for Ride & Run to Greatness, Peloton’s only competition series.
Train on Wednesdays, compete on Saturdays.
3/22: Train on Bike
3/25: Compete on Bike
3/29: Train on Tread

Join #TeamActivate or #TeamValidate via your Leaderboard Tag for your chance at glory and follow @PelotonStudios to choose your captain and your team.

The series will include four total classes: two on the Bike, two on the Tread. The schedule is outlined below

List of Alex Toussaint’s Run & Ride to Greatness Season 3 Classes in 2023

  • Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00pm ET: Practice ride
  • Saturday, March 25 at 12:00pm ET: Game ride
  • Wednesday, March 29 (Time TBA): Practice run

To join the Ride/Run to Greatness, you must add one of two leaderboard tags on your profile – either #TeamActivate or #TeamValidate. You will then be part of the competition when you ride or run live during the official classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This season’s team captains have also been revealed via the new @PelotonStudios Instagram account:

Ride & Run to Greatness Season 3 is here! Join Alex Toussaint for Peloton’s only competition series. Are you #TeamActivate with your Captain Jess Sims or #TeamValidate with your Captain Jenn Sherman?

Tread, Strength, and Bike Bootcamp instructor Jess Sims will serve as the captain of Team Activate, and Bike instructor Jenn Sherman will serve as the captain of Team Validate. Peloton has historically utilized the special leaderboard filter to highlight team captains and make it easier to train and compete alongside them.

To accompany the official announcement of Ride/Run to Greatness, Team Validate and Team Activate jerseys were added back to the Peloton Apparel store (affiliate link).

For the first time ever, members will be in the studio for Ride/Run to Greatness. Peloton has sent email invitations to certain members with an opportunity to participate in the competition in-person at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY).

Having competitions exclusively on Saturday exclude those members like me who are Sabbath observant. I am Team Activate (participated in nearly every event last year, they were on Wednesday evenings) and this year I guess I have no choice but to cheer on from the sidelines.
