Rumor: Peloton Row presale to start tomorrow (Sept 20) for $3195 with no financing or referral program

Last week we speculated that the Peloton might be teasing the launch of the Peloton Row for Tuesday, September 20th.

That speculation appears to have been correct, as we’re hearing updated reports that presales of the Peloton Row should start tomorrow (Sept 20), and some showrooms will have the rower available to try out in person.. The price of the Peloton Row is expected to be $3,195, which we first reported last week.

One new detail which has emerged is that the Peloton Row might not be eligible for any of Peloton’s financing programs. In addition, Peloton’s traditional referral program might not initially apply to sales of the Peloton Row as well.

Given Peloton hasn’t had the Peloton Row splash page on their international home pages, we don’t expect this to be an international launch (though we could be surprised). It’s possible Peloton will reveal more about timing in their other markets tomorrow.

Peloton pricing the rower at $3,195 would put it much higher than most other rowers on the market. One thing to keep an eye on is whether Peloton will lock down the rowing classes to only be available for members who buy the Rower. While that would go against Peloton’s recent push to get more members using the platform through the digital platforms – it would also give extra incentive for members to purchase the new device.

Peloton has yet to say either way if this will be the case, but is something we’ll be keeping an eye on.

    Yikes this is crazy!

If I can’t buy it in Germany I might have to cancel my membership. Already p*** me off that we can’t buy the Peloton Guide. Feels like Germany is not interesting enough for Peloton…

I was hoping for the financing through affirm again but if that isn’t available than I’m not going to be able to do this. First the huge price increase on the tread and now this crazy pricing. WTH?

Does Peleton want us to buy this rower? It is priced quite high and what Pelobuddy is reporting doesn’t seem to be consumer friendly. I own the bike, tread and … everything else Peleton makes. Why am I not being offered a discount or an exclusive something or another?

I hope they’ll make it available with financing options soon. Especially at that price point, which is much higher than most rowing machines on the market. I want the row but who can shell out $3200 just like that???

When financeable sign me up! Until then, I’ll stick with my bike and tread

Peloton rower priced way to high compared to other rowers. No financing makes it even harder to do in this economic state. Also they have not added hardly anymore 60 minute bootcamps..I am still doing ones from years ago because of this which is getting very boring . They stacking is no good. Also a 20 minute workout isn’t going to get me the results I want. …they need more 60 minute bootcamps on demand workouts.
