Peloton now supports syncing with Apple Health

The Peloton iOS app received a new update today that enabled a long-requested feature: syncing with Apple Health data.

By turning on the new integration, the iOS app will sync all of your Peloton workouts and history with your other daily activity in your Apple Health App. The new integration even pulls in your Yoga workouts, with those workout minutes counting as mindful minutes in Apple Health.

At this point, only basic metrics (distance, heart rate, etc) will appear. If you want to track advanced metrics (power data, etc) you still should plan to use other 3rd party tools like mPaceLine.

Android users will have to wait a bit longer for an integration with Google Fit – no word yet on when a similar update will become available for the Android version of the app
