Peloton motivating members with donation to Food Bank For New York City

Peloton is giving back to New York City with a donation to Food Bank For New York City. For every workout completed this weekend (March 21-22, 2020), Peloton will make a donation of $1 to Food Bank For New York City, up to $500,000.

This applies to any and every class taken this weekend, from 12am ET Saturday until 11:59:59pm Sunday. Both on-demand and live classes will count towards a donation. It’s not only bike and tread workouts either – app workouts will count as well, so feel free to rack up on those stretches, yoga, meditations, and others! This initiative was announced to members via social media channels, as well as an email blast to members.

This is not the first fundraising effort Peloton has made. A few months ago, Peloton and the community worked together to raise $100,000 for Action For Healthy Kids, through a similar activation of donating money for every member who completed a set of workouts.
