Peloton has released a new version of their Peloton Digital app with a few long requested features. First and foremost, there is now a leaderboard for app users. Unlike the Peloton tread & bike, which shows a leaderboard of both live & on-demand users, this leaderboard is more akin to a roster of who is currently riding. You will not see previous riders of the workout, or see any metrics – you’ll simply see who is here currently doing the workout at the same time as you. The app allows you to high-five those riders, much like you do on the bike & the tread.
In addition, this same update allows for you to connect bluetooth cadence sensors to the app! Now, when you are doing a workout, you’ll be able to see both your cadence and heart rate (assuming you have a heart rate monitor connected as well) live as you are progressing through the workout.
Get the latest version for both iOS & Android. This is one of the most often requested features of people who ride with a DIY Peloton setup
