Peloton Australia Expanding to Two New Cities: Perth & Adelaide

After officially launching in Australia on July 14, Peloton will soon expand to other areas of the country. Currently the Bike and Bike+ are only available in the Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane metropolitan areas. This week, Peloton announced that starting November 10, orders for the Bike and Bike+ will open to residents in Perth, Adelaide, and select surrounding metropolitan areas.

Peloton’s Facebook post announcing the expansion reads:

We’re expanding!
From 10 November, if you are in Perth, Adelaide, and select surrounding metropolitan areas, you will be able to order the Peloton Bike and Bike+ online!

Anyone in these areas who wants to express interest early can do so via the Peloton Australia website, and can also book a free virtual appointment to learn more about the differences between the Bike and Bike+.

There is still no word on when the Tread and Tread+ will become available in Australia. While the Tread has resumed sales in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Germany, the Tread+ is not being sold anywhere in the world right now due to the recall announced earlier this year.

Peloton first announced their launch in Australia in the spring of 2021. Peloton currently has three showrooms open in Sydney with two more slated to open soon in Melbourne. The Bike+ costs $3,695 AUD while the original Bike costs $2,295 AUD. The monthly membership costs $59 AUD per month.
