Peloton adding musically themed Power Zone Music Classes

Peloton will be creating new musically-themed power zone classes, starting on November 16th. Matt Wilpers shared a teaser with the news on Instagram today.

The first two power zone music classes have been announced:

  • 11/16 – Olivia Amato – 30 minute Power Zone Classic Rock Ride – 6:00am ET
  • 11/18 – Matt Wilpers – 45 minute Power Zone Hip Hop Ride – 6:00am ET

Musically themed classes aren’t new for Peloton. You can find a wide variety of 80’s rides, Pop Rides, Country Rides, Hip Hop rides, and other musically designed classes within the on-demand Peloton library. What’s new today is those themes are coming to Power Zone classes specifically. Could this eventually mean there might be a featured artist series power zone ride?

For those who still don’t enjoy the music on power zone rides, don’t forget to try out the free Power Zone Timer Tool & Library, which runs on your phone and lets you know when zone changes occurs. Using this you can put the class on mute, put your own tunes on, but still ride the power zone class structure as called!
