Peloton announces 2021 Black History Month Celebration

This morning, Peloton officially announced their 2021 Black History Month Celebration.

Expect to see a number of special Black History Month (or possibly “BHM” on the schedule) classes start to appear. They have not yet been added to the schedule. Last year there was a dedicated badge for the classes – there isn’t any official word yet if there will be a new badge this year.

We have some trailblazing Black History Month themed classes and Artist Series on the way. Whether it’s afrobeats, hip hop, go-go or dancehall—feel the heat all month as we bring the fire straight to you.

Peloton plans to add a special “Black History Month 2021” collection in the collections section for easier reference.

One component of the celebration is a dedicated new apparel line. We posted more details about this earlier. Peloton teamed up with artists Hust Wilson, Sanford Greene, Temi Coker, and Monica Ahanonu to create a special series of items fo this collection.

Peloton also announced a new partnership with The Steve Fund (TSF), which is “the largest nonprofit focused on mental health for people of color in the U.S.” Peloton is kicking off this partnership with a $100,000 donation.

Finally, Peloton will be sharing some special videos throughout the month. You can find the first below.

This isn’t the first year Peloton has celebrated Black History Month – you can read about last year’s celebration here.
