Official launch of Peloton prenatal cycling & strength classes

This morning, Peloton has officially launched two new workout types: prenatal bike classes & prenatal strength classes. All of the classes are led by Robin Arzon, and available on-demand. Robin also stated on social media to “stay tuned for more in the coming months.”

The program is launching with 4 prenatal strength classes, and 1 postnatal cycling class.

Robin described her thought process behind creating the program as follows:

“You know I got my pre- and postnatal certification before I was pregnant and you can read all about it in a book but until you have another human taking up space in your abdomen. It’s a little different, so I created the program — so women understand that they are the strongest creatures on this planet,” she added.

Robin also said Peloton would launch some postnatal cycling & postnatal strength classes, but the plan is to wait until after she gives birth to record them in March 2021, so they are more authentic.

For those interested, there are also some prenatal and postnatal yoga classes that have been available in the on-demand library since earlier this year, led by Kristin McGee. Look for them in the Yoga section, and use the prenatal/postnatal class type dropdown.

We first reported earlier this week this would be launching today, along with news of Robin Arzon’s new “Strong as a Mother” YouTube mini-series.
