New Peloton “Movie Buff” series of rides with Kendall Toole

Peloton kicked off a brand new ongoing series this week – the “Movie Buff” rides, led by Kendall Toole. The series is described as:

“Riding and fighting to some of the best soundtracks, storytelling, and empowering moments seen on screen and now in your home with sweat.

The first installment of the series took place yesterday, and was a horror / spooky movie themed workout, which fit in with all the Halloween themed Peloton workouts taking place this week. You can find the 30 minute Movie Buff Ride (Horror / Spooky Movie / Halloween Theme) from 10/26/20 @ 11:30am ET on-demand here.

If you want to keep up with future Movie Buff rides, we’ll keep an ongoing list of them on our Peloton special workout series list here.

New Movie Buff rides are slated to take place monthly (one a month currently) – the next theme is yet to be announced. Kendall teased that the series would cover lots of different genres & soundtracks.

If you’ve taken one of the Movie Buff rides, leave a comment letting other riders know what to expect from these rides!

The Halloween ride was a real bummer. No connection between the rhythms of a number of the themes and the cadences being called, and the “Guys, something is happening in the studio!” bit was wildly annoying – not even Kendall seemed like she was into it. It’s rare that I turn off a new ride, but I shut this down halfway through.
