Peloton Classes From May 16-31, 2019, and June 17-23, 2019 Purged From On Demand Library on May 26, 2023

A fifth round of Peloton’s class library maintenance has taken place, resulting in the removal of classes filmed between May 16-31, 2019, and June 17-23, 2019.

Class library maintenance is Peloton’s removal of older classes from the on demand library that are now taking place more routinely on Friday, as announced in April of 2023. Purges have occurred on April 28, May 5, May 12, and May 19.

In last week’s class library maintenance, a different set of classes was removed than expected. Based on the content that had been purged earlier in the month, we anticipated the May 16-31 block would be removed last week. Instead, Peloton removed classes filmed between the time period of June 1-16, 2019.

However, as of today the May 16-31 block is no longer accessible via the on demand library, with a few notable exceptions. Cody Rigsby’s Backstreet Boys ride from May 17, 2019 – still a very popular class with members – remains, as well as a number of Emma Lovewell’s core strength classes. Peloton has previously communicated that exceptions will be made for classes that are exceptionally popular or part of a program; and Cody’s Backstreet Boys ride and Emma’s core classes fit that bill.

In addition, Peloton removed classes filmed between June 17-23, 2019. With exceptions, the oldest content in the on demand library now dates back to June 24, 2019.

Peloton has removed another block of classes from the on-demand library. The classes seen above are now some of the oldest rides left in the library.

In total, that means approximately three weeks worth of classes were removed in this purge. All previous class library maintenance purges have been two weeks worth of classes.

Thanks to the team at Domestiq for letting us know that equated to around 625 classes being removed this week.

We will continue to share updates regarding these more regular class removals as they occur.

Total garbage. There’s now 9, NINE Pro cycling classes left but they have room for 3000+ yoga classes.

    Total BS.
