Lower cost Peloton Tread Release Date announced in US & Canada: February 9th and March 30th

Peloton updated their website this morning to include some news people have been waiting for: availability dates for the new lower Peloton Tread in the US and Canada.

The new lower cost Peloton Tread will be available on February 9th in Florida, Illinois, New York, Oregon, Texas, and across Canada. It will be available nationwide across the US on March 30th. It has been previously announced that the Tread would be available for sale on December 26th, 2020 in the UK.

The landing page for the Peloton Tread has a entry form where you can add your email address to be notified when you can try it out in showrooms. We revealed last week that Peloton CEO John Foley has said that they should be available in showrooms prior to Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately for the the German Peloton community, no additional information was given for the German availability date. That means the timelines is still what was revelead at luanch, which is ” Later 2021″ (note that US/Canada was previously “Early 2021″).

The new lower cost Tread will cost $2,495 ($3,295 CAD /£2,295 GBP). The existing premium Treadmill, which will now be called the Tread+”, will remain available for sale at the current price of $4,295.
