New ‘Go The Distance’ 5K Peloton Training Program Launches

This morning, Peloton launched their latest training program. Called ‘Go The Distance 5K’, this Peloton 5K training program is designed to help you build up your speed, strength, and endurance in this program that lasts 6 weeks and takes place with Peloton Tread classes. Becs Gentry, Susie Chan, Marcel Dinkins, and Jon Hosking lead this program.

This is Peloton’s second 5K program, as there is a Road to Your 5K program 5 Week training program as well.

Peloton announced the program via social media this morning, saying:

As usual, the classes are locked behind a program, but below, we’ll have a list to all of the classes which you can use to stack. Note that if you stack them and don’t take them through the program you won’t get credit towards the program badge.

Here is the official description for “Go the Distance: 5K” from Peloton: “Get ready to Go the Distance and train for a 5K! Over the course of 6 weeks, you will work on improving your 5K time while building your physical and mental endurance with Susie, Becs, Marcel and Jon.”

Peloton’s “Go the Distance: 5K” Program Badges

It wouldn’t be a Peloton program without badges (you can always find a full list here). You can earn a Bronze badge for completing 12 classes, Silver badge for completing 18 classes, Gold badge for completing 22 classes out of the total 24 classes.

How to join the Peloton Go the Distance: 5K program

At time of publishing programs can be joined from the Peloton Bikes, Tread, Peloton Digital app, or the Peloton website. Simply browse to the programs area, find the Go the Distance: 5K program, and join the program. You can access the web version here.
