Erik Jäger & Sam Yo are newest power zone training coaches for Peloton – classes start today

The Power Zone pack is welcoming two new instructors to the team! Peloton has announced that Sam Yo and Erik Jäger will begin teaching Power Zone rides starting today.

Matt Wilpers had teased earlier this morning in a class there was a big power zone announcement coming today – and we shared on social media that one of those announcements was to be Erik teaching German language power zone classes – but it looks like Sam Yo is joining in on the fun too.

Ten new classes – five from Erik and five from Sam – dropped straight to on demand at 9:30am and 10:30am EST on Wednesday, June 29. The classes are a mix of Power Zone Beginner, Power Zone Endurance, Power Zone Max, and FTP test rides. Classes range in length from 15 to 60 minutes.

There are already Power Zone classes listed on the upcoming schedule with Erik, and live classes with Sam will likely be added soon as well.

Erik is the first German instructor to teach Power Zone classes. Sam is the second U.K. instructor to be added to the Power Zone team, as Ben Alldis began teaching Power Zone rides in April of 2021.

Erik & Sam will join Peloton’s other power zone coaches – Matt Wilpers, Denis Morton, Christine D’Ercole, Olivia Amato, and Ben Alldis

Sam Yo had also previously been teasing “special projects” for the past few months.
