Original Peloton Bike for sale on Woot.com for $1049 (a 27% discount)

The original Peloton Bike is a featured item on sale at Woot.com today. It is available for $1,049.99. The Peloton Bike normally retails for $1,445.

Woot is offering new Peloton Bikes with delivery – but assembly isn’t included. Members will be expected to use the new self-install directions that were created earlier this year. Delivery will take a few days – the page advertises that estimated delivery would be between Dec 30 – Jan 4.

This is one of the lower prices a new original Peloton Bike has been available for. However, last month during Black Friday you could get the Peloton Bike Starter bundle for $1,145 – which included assembly as well as shoes and a Bike Mat. That same package is now $1,245 through Peloton during their Holiday sale.

Peloton has previously offered refurbished Peloton bikes for an even lower price point – including an offer for them for $995 back in October.

One thing to keep in mind is the Woot.com sale only talks about a 90-day Woot limited warranty – and doesn’t explicitly clarify whether it would still be valid for the standard 1-year Peloton warranty (with the option to add the extended warranty afterward).

An interesting thing about Woot is that they have a tab on the sale page that lets you see some data about who has purchased the sale. For example, at the time of publishing, around three Peloton bikes have been sold on Woot today – one was purchased in South Carolina, one from Ohio, and one was purchased in Illinois.

Woot.com is a discount sale site that is owned by Amazon.com. Back in August, Peloton announced that their products (including the original Peloton Bike), would be available for sale on Amazon.

Peloton Bikes aren’t the only item Peloton seems to have excess inventory of and is trying to offload through third-party partners. Members have been reporting finding weights, heart rate bands, shoes, and more available through retailers like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Sierra Trading Post recently.
